Facilitating amicus support for defense litigants.

Establishing networking opportunities to discuss legal proceedings and issues.

Exchanging ideas, information, techniques and court rulings relating to defense litigation; enhancing the skills and knowledge of the defense lawyers.

Working to improve the legal code of conduct, statutes and the system of jurisprudence in our courts and administrative bodies.

Maintaining a presence and voice at the state capitol regarding legislation affecting the defense practice, and keeping OADC members informed as to those legislative developments.

Hosting social functions and quarterly meetings for member interaction, practical legal education and fun.

Publishing quarterly newsletters with information and developments relevant to the defense bar.

Participating in committees geared towards specialized practice areas (i.e., workers' compensation, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, trucking litigation, insurance, etc.).

Sharing information with OADC lawyers, such as the growing expert witness index and database and the OADC bulletin board -- available only to OADC members.
